Killer B's Triumph Over Wolfpack B-Side

Home — Directly following the A-side match, the Killer B’s triumphed over the NC State B-side 39-7. Head Coach Mike Groenewald is quoted as saying, “This side has a great deal of potential, and if they keep playing with the amount of discipline and heart they did on Saturday, a couple of teams in the Carolinas Rugby League will be in for a sweet surprise.” Club President Ryan Wright lead the pack at tight-head prop, while the halfback pair of Spencer and Rouse led the Tar Heel charge for the majority of the game. The backs capitalized heavily on the constant ball supply from the forwards, while debutant inside center Evan Reynolds showed promise in his running game.
