Home — The University of South Carolina brought a second side to Chapel Hill on Saturday in an effort to challenge the perfect record of the Killer B's.
In the first half, the only points put on the board by North Carolina was the result of a successful penalty kick by junior scrum-half Travis Spencer.
In the second half, junior hooker Adam McDonald scored a try under the posts in the 60th minute of the game, while Spencer successfully converted.
In the end, the Killer B's were simply outmatched by a larger and more experienced South Carolina. The strength of USC's second side illustrates the considerable depth in their roster, while they have enough players to successfully field a C-side.
The Killer B's look to beat Eastern Carolina University this Friday evening at home in their last Carolinas Rugby League match of the year.
